The Hydrogen developers have just put up an interesting post on the Hydrogen website, 14 ways to contribute to Hydrogen!

What pops into most peoples heads when they think about contributing towards a software project is coding and bug testing, but there are many other ways to contribute too, especially for end users.

DrumGizmo v0.9.7 released
The Drumgizmo team have just announced the release of version 0.9.7 of Drumgizmo. The most notable change in this release is the implementation of realtime resampling. This means that Drumgizmo will match, in realtime, whatever samplerate you are working with, so you are no longer restricted to 44.1kHz!

Drumgizmo version 0.9.6 is released

The Drumgizmo team have officially announced version 0.9.6 of their drum sampling plugin.

Drumgizmo is an LV2 sample based drum plugin that mimics the set up of a real acoustic drumkit. It uses an open drumkit file format, so you can create your own drumkits for Drumgizmo. There is even an editor called DGedit that comes with Drumgizmo to help you make this task as easy as possible. There are also currently 5 drumkits available from Drumgizmo's website.
