I use the mixxx software as a selecta. As a producer my catalogue include experimental music releases which i call nu-music and soundscapes which include sampling and the use of field recordings. I primarly use ardour and audacity for my nu-music productions.

Mark! Silver

Mark! Silver

My name is Mark! Silver (and yes, the exclamation point is part of the name). I'm an independent musician from the lovely united state of Wiscodisco (Wisconsin). I've been doing music-related things throughout my life, and have made music of more genres and styles than I can keep track (though "indie-rock" isn't a bad descriptor). In February of 2016, I first tried Ubuntu, & I switched to Linux full-time around April of that same year.

My root is blues and Jazz and some asian folkmusic. I make music on a KXstudio Linux. I almost only use FOSS, mainly Ardour and Rosegarden.

Forzee

Forzee are a band from Saint-Petersburg playing mixed genres of metal.

Critics have lost many time to define various musical material they're playing. That's why their playlist contains Heavy Metal songs, grim Doom Metal-styled music and also fast and aggressive Thrash Death metal music.

The only one thing is unchangeable: many songs contain experimental spirit of Progressive mixed with dark paints of Doom. This allows to define band's musical genre as Progressive Doom Metal.

I'm an electronic music producer, vocalist and songwriter from Warsaw, Poland. My main OS is KXStudio.

I'm creating music inspired with modern EDM sounds as well as the classical baroque music. I'm blending the genres of drum&bass, dubstep, techno, electro with funk and jazz inspirations, trying to create music that is both danceable and rich enoght to be enjoyable on it's own. I don't use other people's samples or loops - I mostly synthesise my sounds from scratch (drums too!) or record some vocal samples myself.
