Open Music Contest announces crowdfunding campaign
M.eik Michalke and his team have decided to revive the Open Music Contest (OMC) for the 5th time. OMC, a Creative Commons Music Competition, aims to inform musicians and their fans about Creative Commons (CC). To make its 5th contest happen they have started a crowd funding campaign.
Open Music Contest held its first competition in 2005. Up until now there have been 4 events, all based in Germany. This year to mark its 10th anniversary, they have decided to extend it on a global scale so that every Creative Commons musician in the world is invited to take part.
You can check out their website for full details about the Open Music Contest and if you'd like to help make OMC#5 happen, check out their indiegogo crowd funding page.
