John Option like their bikes so much that they have just released a new song called 'Bike'. Their new song, as with all of John Option releases, is published under the terms of the Creative Commons License Attribution Share Alike.

Spencer Jackson has just announced the return of The Open Source Musician Podcast. The Open Source Musician Podcast has also moved to archive.org, where you can find the whole catalog of OSM podcast episodes.

New website, musical-artifacts.com, has just launched a beta version. The website brings together presets, synth patches, sample libraries, etc all in one place for users to browse and download. You can also submit 'artifacts' of your own to the website for other people to discover.

KXStudio has been the latest in a line of open source projects to move away from sourceforge. You will now find the KXStudio project hosted on the linuxaudio.org servers. The new website can now be found at https://kxstudio.linuxaudio.org/

The Calf developers have made the decision to move the project away from its previous home at SourceForge. This includes a new website and a new domain. In addition Calf Studio Gear's source code will now be hosted on Github.

M.eik Michalke and his team have decided to revive the Open Music Contest (OMC) for the 5th time. OMC, a Creative Commons Music Competition, aims to inform musicians and their fans about Creative Commons (CC). To make its 5th contest happen they have started a crowd funding campaign.
