Libre Music Production is a community-driven online resource, focused on promoting musical creation and composition using free and open source (FLOSS) software. By providing hands-on material submitted by the community, such as guides, tutorials, articles and news updates, we want to show not only that there is great FLOSS audio software out there, but also how to practically use that software to make music. Robin Gareus has just tagged v0.2 of his new, up and coming, graphical EQ on github. Rui Nuno Capela has just announced a new release of his Vee One Suite of plugins. The plugin suite is available in the LV2 plugin format as well as standalone JACK clients, with NSM support. Ardour has just seen a new major release, version 4. Since the last release, there have been over 4,000 commits. Ardour has seen a lot of infrastructure work and now uses a new graphics engine (cairo) for the editor window. OpenAV have just released a statement announcing the end of the OpenAV Release System. The idea of this system was that source code for OpenAV projects would be released 12 months after their announcement with donations bringing forward release dates 1 month at a time.
